HUNG THINH LAND AWARDS VND 2 BILLION TO VIETNAM NATIONAL WOMEN'S FOOTBALL TEAM

On February 12, during the meeting after winning the ticket to the World Cup 2023  - The biggest football festival on the planet of the national women's football team, Hung Thinh Land - the biggest sponsor for the national women's football team awarded VND 2 billion to the team.

 
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hung Thinh Corporation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Thinh Land and Mr. Le Trong Khuong - General Director of Hung Thinh Land awarded VND 2 billion to the representative of the national women's football team.
 

With the biggest victory in the history of Vietnam football, the women's team has been qualified to attend the World Cup for the first time, the reward from Hung Thinh Land is considered as a motivation for the players in the world's largest playground that is going to take place next year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Acting Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) thanked Hung Thinh Land for the companionship of Vietnam football in general, especially the national women's team - "diamond" girls. The support of sponsors such as Hung Thinh Land not only ensures material life, training and competition conditions, but also a source of encouragement and morale for the whole team. This is also a contributing factor to the success, bringing the Vietnam women's football team to the World Cup for the first time in its history.

In addition to enterprises that regularly accompany Vietnam football such as Vingroup, Honda ... since 2019, Hung Thinh Land has been a sponsor accompanying the national women's football team with a record sponsorship of up to VND 100 billion, aiming for the World Cup in 5 years (January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2024). Currently, Hung Thinh Land is the biggest sponsor for the Vietnamese women's football team. The sponsorship rate of the unit has helped VFF have about 50 - 55% of the fund to promote Vietnam women's football to realize the dream of the World Cup.

In the atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, the "diamond" girls brought an optimistic inspiration to the entire Vietnamese people in general, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, that is overcoming difficulties, the will to compete to the end. In order to reach World Cup 2023, the Vietnam women's team had a memorable journey. Before the final round of Asian Cup 2022, the women's team had nearly 3 weeks of training in Spain. The incident occurred when almost all players were infected with Covid-19, it seemed that they had to give up the tournament. The day before the tournament started, the new team had enough personnel to practice. Despite these difficulties, the players maintained the spirit of solidarity and fought bravely to create a miracle for Vietnam football. This is the first time the Vietnam women's team has won the ticket to participate in the world's largest playground.
Sharing in a meeting with leaders of Hung Thinh Land and Hung Thinh Corporation, striker Huynh Nhu, captain of the women's football team, still kept the overflowing emotions from the match: "This victory is the happiness of mine, of the players and the coaching staff. The Vietnam women's team has never attended the World Cup. We have made a historical milestone, so everyone is happy.”

When training in Spain, unfortunately the whole team was infected with Covid-19, went through many difficulties but still entered the field and excellently scored the winning goal against Taiwan team, midfielder Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy had emotional expressions at the meeting with sponsor Hung Thinh Land: "I would like to thank the coach and teammates, especially the sponsor Hung Thinh Land for helping us have more conditions for better training. Besides the talent, enthusiasm and determination of the whole team, the sponsor's help also made our wish become true. Throughout my career as a player, I have always aspired to go to a big tournament like World Cup 2023. In the upcoming tournament, we will work hard, try hard when playing against opponents of a different level that the whole team has never competed. We will show everyone that the Vietnam women's football team is worthy to go to World Cup 2023."

Earlier on February 11, in the program to welcome, meet and reward the coaches and athletes of Ho Chi Minh City participating in the competition in the Vietnam women's football team of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Thinh Land also sponsored VND 2 billion to HCMC women's football club to help ensure good training conditions and contribute to the development of women's football of the city.
