Hung Thinh Land sponsors VND 100 billion for National Women’s football team and developing young Women’s team towards World Cup

On December 23, 2019, at the headquarters of Vietnam Football Federation, the Signing Ceremony of sponsoring National Women's Football Team and Developing the Young Women’s Team towards World Cup between Hung Thinh Land Joint Stock Company (Hung Thinh Land ) and Vietnam Football Federation. The honor ceremony was witnessed by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.

With this sponsorship, Hung Thinh Land wishes to share with Vietnam Football Federation about the expenditures of salary, nutrition and training for young players to develop and improve the quality of activities of Vietnamese football, especially National Women's Football team and National Young Women’s Football Team have more conditions and opportunities for training and competition towards World Cup 2026.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Trong Khuong - General Director of Hung Thinh Land said: “For recent years, Vietnam National Women's Football Team has achieved a lot of proud achievements: 6 times of winning Sea Games championship, and 3 times of winning women's AFF Cup. And the Team currently holds No. 1 position in Southeast Asia, ranked No. 6 in Asia and at No. 32 among the strongest women's teams in the world. What an extremely impressive achievement and I really admire "steel roses" of Vietnamese football. We expect the women's team will continue to maintain their manners and gain more impressive achievements, especially competing for attending Olympics Tokyo 2020 and fulfilling the dream of competing at World Cup. With a 5-year sponsorship term, we would like to support and accompany in a stable and long-term manner with the development of women's football in the country”.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - VFF Standing Vice President said that Vietnamese football was gaining a lot of successes in the international arena and drawing special attention from the social community, of fans and sponsors, including Hung Thinh Land. “Vietnam Football Federation really appreciates and thanks Hung Thinh Land's companion with football in general, National Women's Football Team and young women's football team in particular. This will add spirit to the national team and young women's football team so that they will be more secure in the competition and complete the mission” – Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan said.

Besides, at the signing ceremony on December 23 morning, Hung Thinh Corporation awarded VND 1.3 billion of bonuese as previously announced to Vietnam National Women's Football Team and Women's Team Coaching Board for historical achievements gained at SEA Games 30.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh - Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam said: “I would like to congratulate for dedications of the girls from Women’s Football Team. Vietnamese women’s team with the prestigious Gold Medal at recent SEA Games 30 as well as the proud achievement of 6 times of winning SEA Games Gold Medal, brings the glory to the nation. In addition, I also congratulate Vietnam Sports Delegation in general for having the honor of receiving the First Class Labor Medal from the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in the event of meeting and encouraging athletes and coaches with high achievements at SEA Games 30 just taking place on 12/22. With the 5-year sponsorship of Hung Thinh Land in the signing ceremony today, I expect women's football will have more conditions to further development and contribution to the status of the country's football in the future”.
