The amazing show "The Flyboard of Cam Ranh Mystery" took place at Bai Dai Beach (Cam Ranh) on April 30 morning and in Nha Trang on the same day’s afternoon.

Attending this event were many international athletes such as: Sergey Philippov (Russian) – The World Top 20; Anton Popov (Russian) – Top Russian Performer; Yang Dong Won (Korean) – Top Korean Performer.

Honami Yamaguchi (Japan) – Top Female Rider Japan; Suksan Tongthai (Thai) – 4-time champion in “Best Rider in the World” category; Valerii Liamtcev and Srisrang Sataporn (Thai flyboard team) etc. also participated in this event.

The performance was under direct supervision of Denis Kornilovich – manager of the Russian flyboard team; Eugen Taranowski and Artur Sakhabutdinov – manager of Vietnamese flyboard team.

The flyboard, a thrilling water sport to young adults, was invented by Franky Zapata, the champion of Flyboard Air.

The personal equipment of this sport consists of a board connected by a long hose to a watercraft, 2 jet nozzles and 2 other pipes etc. which help the operator to control the balance and direction.

Basically, the flyboard uses a jet engine pumping water and then thrusting it out of the nozzles under high pressure. This thrust can lift the player up to the height of 9 meters or move forward with high speed.

Before being adopted in Vietnam, flyboarding has become an attractive and favorite sport of young adults in Dubai, France, England, Thailand etc. With a lightweight design, the flyboard can help players to fly above the water and do curves, dips or flips.

This game is a great choice for adventurous people who like discovery and thrilling experiences. According to Franky Zapata, it could take you a few minutes to get familiar with the basic techniques and about an hour to use the flyboard to do some simple flies.

In Vietnam, flyboarding is considered as a form of entertainment and the only place where you can try this thrilling sport is Nha Trang, where this service costs around VND 800,000 – 1.2 million for 15 minutes. You must spend an approximate expense of about $6,000 (more than VND 120 million) if you would like to own a jet water flyboard.
